Stoney Mountain Rock with Arizona Turquoise

This pendant necklace is absolutely one of a kind. I find this rock in a very specific location on Stoney Mountain behind my house. It yields a burled, mahogany looking stone with traces of quartz once it is cut and polished. In one of the pics is what the stone looks like raw before I cut it and work it.

In the center is a smoothed Arizona blue turquoise nugget (12mm x 10mm) with sterling silver spacers. The pendant measures 30mm x 30mm and is polished to a glass-like finish with diamond paste. This is stung on an 18″ silver chain with a lobster-claw clasp (I can put this on a larger or smaller chain or even on an adjustable cord necklace if you want – just add a note at checkout and I will take care of it.)

This is not mass produced assembly line style – it is made singly with mindful focus by me. Own something that is as quirky and unique as you! All necklaces ship with a muslin pouch in a gift-box.
